There are very few opportunities to ski for $15 at Utah resorts, and there aren’t many options for people who want to ski for a good cause. But Brighton has come up with a way to combine the two into a sweet way to ski cheap and help out Utah charities at the same time.
Brighton’s Quad Wednesdays happen the first three weeks of December, leading up to Christmas. Each week benefits a different charity organization. Basically, when you show up and donate an item, you get to buy a lift ticket for only $15.
Below is a rundown of each Wednesday, the charity that benefits from your generous donation, and what needs to be donated in order to qualify for the lift ticket discount on that day.
12/2/09 – Bring a new blanket, socks, gloves or winter hat for the Road Home Homeless Shelter.
12/9/09 – Bring a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or more for Toys for Tots.
12/16/09 – Bring one full grocery bag of non-perishable food for the Utah Food Bank.
Brighton’s Quad Wednesdays are a great way to help those in need this holiday season while also helping yourself to a full day of skiing for only $15.
