Kamik Atrium Maude Rain Boot

Fashionable rain boots are great to look at but not always comfortable to wear.  Being a woman who needs good supportive, sturdy shoes, I don’t buy “cute” boots.  But I decided to roll the dice and try out the colorful new Kamik rain boot line, the Atrium Maude.  Good thing my past experiences with rain boots didn’t prevent me from getting these shoes.  The arch support was exactly what I needed to walk the dog in the slush.  I also wore the boots to a New Years Eve party with a black dress and leggings.

The Atrium (rain boots for women) are part of Kamik’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection.  Made in Canada, the boots are 100% recyclable, waterproof, and lightweight.  The RAIN outsole provides excellent traction even on icy sidewalks.  The Kamik’s comfortable footbed can also be removed.  What’s really cool about them is the fact that there is no front or back seam on these shiny, vibrant boots.  This makes them look like a wrap-around piece of art.

No longer will I need to pull out my ugly granny galoshes.  With the rainy days of spring fast approaching, these boots won’t have a chance to collect dust in my closet.

Great review! I’m a huge fan of Kamik rain boots. I own a pair of Kamik Ellie and love them for all of the reasons you mentioned in your review! The Ellie actually has the same lines and the trim at the top that these have, so I’m wondering if they will fit the same. I usually go for the solids but I really like this print.
