Spring is always a bittersweet time for Utah skiers. The warm weather signifies the start of mountain biking and rock climbing season, but many of us would be perfectly happy to continue skiing all year long. For those of us who fight against inevitable summer, nothing drives the nail into the coffin of ski season like the announcement of ski resort closing dates.
Ski Utah has compiled the 2010 closing dates for all Utah resorts into one handy list, which can be read below. Consider it a countdown clock to get in the most skiing as possible before the lifts stop running.
Alta: April 18 with possible additional weekends
Beaver Mountain: March 28
Brian Head: April 18th
Brighton: April 18 weather pending
The Canyons: April 11
Deer Valley: April 11
Park City Mountain Resort: April 11
Powder Mountain: April 11
Snowbasin: April 8 weather pending
Snowbird: Memorial Day Weekend
Solitude: April 18
Sundance: April 4
