Another huge ski movie premiere happens in Salt Lake City when the 20th feature-length film from Matchstick Productions, “The Way I See It” screens at The Rail Event Center, located at 235 North, 500 West.
It all happens on Saturday, October 9th. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 8. Salomon USA, along with the Ski ‘N See shops, are hosting the event.
In addition to the film, ski-movie stars and Salomon athletes Cody Townsend and Bobby Brown will be signing posters at the Ski ‘N See shop in Sandy that afternoon from 3-5pm. The Ski ‘N See shop is located at 722 East, 9400 South.
According to the filmmakers, “The Way I See It” is a “modern take on the extreme sports genre featuring state-of-the-art, high definition cinematography and unique POV angles.”
“The film recently won top honors at the International Freeski Film Festival in Montreal, including Best Film, Best Editing and People’s Choice Awards.”
“Shot on location in Alaska, Japan, British Columbia, Colorado, Switzerland and other locations across the globe, the film features an impressive cast, including Salomon athletes Mark Abma, Bobby Brown, Cody Townsend, Ingrid Backstrom and Henrik Windstedt.”

And as with all ski movie premieres in Salt Lake, you can bet it will be a party with live performances, swag giveaways, and the opportunity to mingle with your fellow skiers who are just as excited about the upcoming ski season as you are.
