Winter is here in Utah, and hopefully for good. Alta is getting slammed with snow and people are already hiking and skinning up for those first season turns. Looking at the Wasatch from the Salt Lake Valley reveals snow, snow, and more snow that has been falling for days straight, and the cold air has settled in. As a result of the slamming Ullr bestowed upon us, Utah’s 14 ski resorts have released their estimated opening dates for the 2010/2011 ski and snowboard season.

Canyons Resort: Dec 10
Deer Valley Resort: Dec. 4
Eagle Point: Dec. 15
Park City Mountain Resort: Open
Powder Mountain: Open
Snowbasin, A Sun Valley Resort: Open
Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort:Open
Solitude Mountain Resort: Open
Sundance Resort: Dec. 4
Wolf Mountain: Open
