No matter how you got down the hill or who you did it with, the 2011 season was epic. Greatest season ever? That one is up for debate, but one thing is certain: as far as the Utah record books go, it was the deepest season ever. Record breaking snowfall? Bluebird days with two feet of fresh? The lightest, fluffiest, most addictive powder on planet Earth? Yes, yes, and yes.
I got my hands on a GoPro camera just in time, and the following is just a small piece of the amazingness that was the 2011 snow season. After a gorgeous Indian summer, the snow is flying again, and it’s time to stoke the fires. The temperatures are dropping, the lifts are running, and inches are being added to the base every day. Come June we’ll know if this season stacks up to the last, but the truth is that doesn’t even matter right now. It’s time to ride…
