Ski Utah, along with Eider, Rossignol, and Ski La Parva, Chile, have teamed up to grant powder turns in August by giving a lucky winner a trip to South America. Visitors to the Ski Utah Yeti Facebook Page can enter between now and April 20 to win that all expense paid ski vacation for two people to La Parva, Chile. This grand prize is valued at $8,500 and includes a week of ski-in/ski-out lodging, lift tickets, gear rentals and airfare for two very lucky people.

According to Ski Utah, this contest is testament to their commitment to get people skiing, regardless of the fact that there’s no snow in Utah in the middle of August. “Ski Utah is committed to making powder accessible to our consumers year round,” said Ski Utah Content Editor Brandon Ott. “This contest demonstrates our commitment to that promise even in summer’s hottest month.”

The Yeti is generous, and will be giving away other prizes as well to contest entrants from Rossignol and Eider. During the first week of the contest from March 23-30, a winner will get their choice of Rossignol Super 7 or s7W skis, or a MagTek or Diva Magtek snowboard.

Week two of the contest, which runs from March 30 through April 6, the winner will be the proud owner of a brand-spankin’ new Telluride Jacket from Eider. In addition, anybody who enters at any point during the contest will be automatically qualified for the grand prize ski trip to Chile.
