Crispi brings their boot tradition to Outdoor Retailer Summer Market
Crispi has been making high quality boots and shoes since 1975, but chances are you probably haven’t heard of them. How could that be? The company may have a strong tradition built, but in the American market, they are just finding their feet. The company has grown up in the shadow of the Dolomite Mountains in Italy, and now they are looking to sheath your feet in their high quality wares. What are they offering to us gear-head Americans? Good, good leather and serious mountain attitude.

Europe is the birthplace of mountaineering, and Crispi takes the sport very seriously. They offer a full line of high end boots fit for everything from Everest to the Eiger. If you’re not looking to bag the Seven Summits, fear not, they also offer numerous trekking boots. The Ascent Plus GTX and Wyoming GTX are lighter weight trekkers that look as slick as anything on the market. Crispi keeps the boots light yet durable thanks to their Wrapping Framework technology. A lightweight upper is infused with plastic polymer, giving the boot structure while cutting out extra ounces.

It doesn’t end there, either. Crispi offers multiple shoes in almost every category of recreating you can dream up: hiking, backpacking, approach, and yes, paragliding! And when you’re off the local crag, they have some smooth lifestyle shoes for you…fedora not included. Breaking into a new market is no easy task, especially when outdoor people are already spoiled for choice here in America. Yes, Crispi has their work cut out for them, but hey, what goes better with some hard work than a really good pair of boot.
