Easton Mountain Products shook the condensation off the outdoor world’s rainfly when they unveiled the ultra-light weight Kilo 2P tent that weighs only 2lbs 4oz. Since then, they’ve expanded their lineup of high-quality tents with the new Rimrock and Torrent series of tents.

First, the Rimrock 2P is a two-person tent that is similar to the Kilo, but uses aluminum poles instead of carbon fiber. This adds a bit of weight to the package, but lowers the price point considerably to $249. Still, it’s no heavy as it comes in at 3lbs 2oz, ideal for backpacking adventures. The Rimrock is a three-season shelter featuring vertical sidewalls for tons of headroom. Dual doors with one-hand zippers make for easy in/out, and roomy vestibules provide ample storage space.

The other sweet-looking tent is the Torrent 2P. This baby looks like an expedition, 4-season tent, but Easton is calling it a “All-Season/Multisport” tent. The difference? It’s not just for winter camping, as you can use it year round without worrying the lack of ventilation would make it a suffocation cave come summer. Super stable with y-shaped side poles, and a fly that will keep out dust and sand rounds out the features.

On the trekking pole side of things, Easton is showing off the Compact Carbon 5 Trekking Pole. These insanely feather-weight poles come in at only a hair over a pound for the pair, and feature the patented Rock-Lock system for bomber deployment and stability. An EVO grip is ergonomic in the palm of your hand, and have easy-adjust wrist straps.
