If you ski or snowboard and have some modicum of video shooting and editing skill, then listen up! The Alta Peruvian Lodge, in conjunction with Discrete, is hosting a contest like no other. The Alta Peruvian Lodge Video Challenge is your change to show off what you got both on the slopes and in the edit bay. Up for grabs is sweet gear from contest sponsors like Salomon, Oakley, RAMP, 4FRNT and more.
So how does it work? According to contest organizers, twice a month, throughout the rest of the 2015 ski season season, the Peruvian Lodge (or the P-Dog) will be hosting a video contest to showcase the killer riding that goes down in the Wasatch and surrounding ranges. You can shoot and submit your edits as often as you’d like for a chance to win prize packages from the sponsors.
The bi-weekly contest will be held every 2nd and 4th Thursday at the P-Dog from 5-8 p.m. for video viewing and judging. The week’s round of entries will be featured on the Discrete website for viewing, so you can see what kind of competition you’re up against.
Entering is super easy. Simply upload your edit to Vimeo or You Tube, then fill out the video information on the contest form. After that, get on up to the P-Dog, grab some beers and hang out with the raddest people on the planet for a viewing party!
