Hurricane is the new Moab. Don’t agree? Then get your saddle-sore butt down to southwest Utah for the Hurricane Mountain Bike Festival. For three days from March 28- 30, the bike-savvy guys and gals from Over The Edge Sports will be organizing rides through some of the most spectacular trails in the world. With Zion National Park as a backdrop, you can pedal over slickrock and singletrack on Gooseberry Mesa, Little Creek, JEM Trail and more.
Like all mountain bike festivals, you can expect rowdy, costumed fun alongside family friendly activities. Bike demos, a dutch oven dinner social, pancake breakfasts, parties, beer garden, and live music rounds out the event. And of course miles and miles of classic rides fill up the days. In addition, there will be Clunker Crit and foot-down competitions as well as prize drawings and giveaways.
