The Mid-Mountain trail, one of the longest sections of singletrack in Utah, just got even longer. Deer Valley recently added an extension to the popular trail that goes from the Silver Lake area to the excellent Deer Crest Trail to make it easier for mountain bikers to get to Snow Park and back without having to ride the chairlifts.
According to a press release, this project was a collaboration between Deer Valley, Mountain Trails Foundation, and the Bald Eagle Homeowners Association. The trail officially opened on July 11th. This new extension of the Mid-Mountain Trail is part of Deer Valley’s big summer improvement project that aims to modernize and update over 70 miles of existing mountain bike trails, as well as building new singletrack.
