We all know how rad Moab is as a favorite getaway from urban life. The red rock desert filled with opportunities like mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and camping are among the best in the world. I try to make the pilgrimage there at least once a year, but after watching the video “Being Here” by Outdoor Research and Juniper Media, I’m inspired to turn off this damn computer, pack up my gear, and go right the hell now.
“Being Here” follows a group of women who escape the monotony of every day life to immerse themselves in everything one can possibly do in and around Moab. They rock climb on Castleton Tower, go bouldering on sheer red rocks, mountain biking desert singletrack, checking out petroglyphs at Birthing Rock, swimming in the Colorado River, camping, hiking, trail running, and even painting landscapes from sunset saturated viewpoints.

This “greatest hits of Moab” features gorgeous cinematography of all of the above. If you don’t want to drop what you are doing right now, load up the car, and get to Moab immediately, then you have no outdoors soul.
