Vasque has a few new boots set to come out this fall that I was able to get a close up look at during the Outdoor Retailer 2017 Winter Market, including the Snowburban II UltraDry, the Pow Pow III UltraDry, and the Breeze III.
SNOWBURBAN II ULTRADRY
The latest cold-weather boot from Vasque are these killer-looking kicks. The Men’s Snowburban II UltraDry features a brand new sole design they call Nordic Rover. It’s a dual density sole that they say has better perimeter bite and mid-foot feel on uneven terrain. The sole also has ColdHold Compound to retain traction and grip on snow and ice. The boot also has the UltraDry waterproofing sytem, and 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra. MSRP: $159.99
POW POW III ULTRADRY
New for Women in 2017 is the Pow Pow III UltraDry. Like the Snowburban, they also feature Nordic River soles and 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation. The Pow Pow III also has a 1.8mm waterproof leather and textile upper that is breathable yet durable and also makes the boots more light weight. A wool fleece lining, molded rubber heel kick, and molded EVA midsole round out the details. MSRP: $149.99
BREEZE III
The latest in the popular Breeze series is version 3.0. The Breeze III, available in GTX and non-GTX versions, is more breathable, comfortable, and has more traction than its predecessors (at least that’s what the company claims.) The Breeze III features an exclusive Vibram Contact Grip outsole, breathable, high-abrasion upper mesh panels, new toe and heel ventilation ports, waterproof GORE-TEX Membrane (in the GTX model), and a dual-density midsole with All-Terrain Compound. MSRP: $179.99
