Price, Utah has a lot of good mountain bike trails, but for some reason the town has not gained much attention as a MTB destination. That may change next month as the new Wood Hill trail will have its grand opening on Saturday, May 6th.
Wood Hill is located just north of town, and the newly-cut singletrack will also have a new trailhead, parking area, bathroom and a kiosk.
There will be a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on May 6th, with a group ride following immediately after at 10:30. Hikers are also encouraged to participate and check out this new addition of the Price trail network.
To get to Wood Hill from Price, drive up 100 North, then turn Left on 300 East. Continue to 900 North. Turn left, and head up dirt hill while following the arrows to Wood Hill.
With established trails like the Smo’Joes Loop, Wyatt’s Way, Yoo Hoo, and of course Luke’s Trail, the Price trail network will be getting a little bit bigger in May. Head over there and check out the grand opening of Wood Hill and you’ll be able to brag that you were one of the first to ride it.
