Update: The July 13-14 special 50% discount is completely booked.
If you haven’t heard, Whisper Ridge Backcountry Resort in Northern Utah is now offering heli-mountain bike trips. The first of its kind in the lower 48, Whisper Ridge takes mountain bikers (and their bikes) to the top of the Limberpine Trail for a 3,000 vertical-foot descent.
Now they’ve announced a second trail you can shred, called Nirvana. This is the latest creation from legendary downhill trail designer Eli Harik and the newest addition to Whisper Ridge’s growing Heli-Mountain Bike Park.
According to a press release, Nirvana begins with a heli drop at 9,082’ on the high summit of Sharp Mountain, and promptly descends into the deep shade of north-facing old-growth forest, winding though 5.5 miles and 2,300’ of vertical downhill.
They’ve built Nirvana with riders of all levels in mind: featuring fresh and super flowy-loam textures, long butter-smooth berm sections, and many optional terrain and wooden features – from big gaps and wall rides to hyper-techy rock gardens – this gravity-fed single-track delivers something for everyone.
To celebrate the grand opening of the Nirvana Trail, Whisper Ridge is offering discounts of up to 50% off on-site booking on Saturday July 13th and Sunday, July 14th only. That’s $100 heli-mountain biking.
In addition, there will be vendors, factory reps, and pro riders on-hand, as well as free food and drinks from 8am until 4pm.
Update: The above event is now completely booked and Whisper Ridge is no longer taking reservations for the weekend.
