About Us
Utah Outside is a website made for average people looking for outdoor adventure in Utah. From articles about skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, camping, hiking and anything else outdoor related, Utah Outside is where you can find informative articles, trip reports, gear reviews and the latest news stories and events without the “extreme” attitude found on other outdoor websites.
Utah Outside is always looking for suggestions, comments and contributions from people who are passionate about outdoor recreation and having fun outside in the State of Utah. If there is anything you would like to see on this website or would like us to feature, please contact us at jared@utahoutside.com
Gear Reviews: Recent rules handed down by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has mandated that reviews of product must contain a disclosure as to whether a positive review was written in exchange for keeping the product. Here at UtahOutside.com, we review gear that we receive in one of two ways: we either buy it, or a company sends us product samples for testing and review. When we test and review gear, we always give the product a fair shake… if the gear sucks, we say so. If the gear is awesome, we say so. There is never any prior agreement between UtahOutside.com and gear companies that if a product get a good review then we get to keep it. This policy ensures that all our reviews are fair and comprehensive. If you have any questions about the gear we review, please shoot an email to jared@utahoutside.com

Excellent gear & activity source. Forwarded site to eastern European tour groups we work with.
I am looking for a liter sized stainless steel flask similiar to a flask for alcohol consumption.
I hike a lot and would like something contoured to fit my hip or thigh.
thanks

Joe,
Don’t know of any liter sized flasks that are shaped like a typical flask, but here’s a gallon one!
