As is the case every year, Snowbird will once again have the longest ski season in Utah. After the weekend of April 24th and 25th, the ‘Bird will be the only ski resort in operation. That, however, does not mean that the mountain will be fully open. Restaurant, lift and ski run closures will take effect throughout the month of May, so if you’re planning on heading up for the corn skiing, you need to know what to expect. To keep skiers informed, Snowbird released their spring skiing schedule on their website, which you can see below.
Monday, April 26th – Sunday, May 2nd: Lifts remaining open for extended Spring Skiing schedule: Chickadee, Little Cloud, Mineral Basin Express and the Tram. Closed lifts now include: Peruvian Express/Tunnel, Gadzoom, Baby Thunder, Gad II, Mid-Gad, Baldy Express and Wilbere. Creekside closed for retail and tickets. Creekside bathrooms and lockers will remain open. Terrain Park now closed.
Monday, May 3rd – Sunday, May 9th: Lifts remaining open for extended Spring Skiing schedule: Little Cloud, Mineral Basin Express and the Tram. Hours will be: 9am-3pm.
Monday, May 10th: Snowbird will now be open for skiing and riding Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (Will also be open the Monday of Memorial Day)
Friday, May 14th – Sunday, May 16th: Lifts open for extended Spring Skiing schedule: Mineral Basin Express, Little Cloud and the Tram. Hours of operation will be based on weather conditions.
Friday, May 21st – Sunday, May 23rd: Lifts open for extended Spring Skiing schedule: Mineral Basin Express, Little Cloud and the Tram. Hours of operation will be based on weather conditions.
Friday, May 28th – Monday, May 31st (Memorial Day Weekend): The Tram will start its summer passenger schedule. Lifts open for extended Spring Skiing schedule: Mineral Basin Express, Little Cloud and the Tram.
Saturday, June 12th: Open for Father’s Day Weekend or sooner depending on weather conditions.
