It’s Tour des Suds time already! Nothing says fall mountain bike season is near than by dressing up in a crazy costume, mounting a decorated bike, then grinding 2,700 feet up a grueling hill climb from Park City to the top of Guardsman Pass. So that’s exactly what people will be doing at the 31st annual Tour des Suds.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, September 18th at 10am. The mountain bike ride is 7-miles long as it follows the famous Tour des Suds trail starting at City Park in Park City, then climbs to the chill air and sweeping views atop the pass. Everyone participating is highly encouraged to dress up in the most outlandish costumes possible, because that’s really that the race is all about.
Register early though, because the first 200 riders who sign up will get custom Tour des Suds socks and free lunch. FREE LUNCH!!! After the event, tons of prizes, food and beverages will be available at the post race party which happens in conjunction with the Park Silly Sunday Market on the Town Lift Deck located on Lower Main Street. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded.
Again, the 31st annual Tour des Suds starts in City Park, 1354 Park Ave, Park City, UT. Race starts at 10:00 am. Pre-registered riders can pick up race number at City Park starting at 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The race will begin with a mass start from City Park to the top of Guardsman Pass. The distance is a 7-mile hill climb on single and double track trail, with a 2,700′ elevation gain. You can register in the following categories:

Early registration is $30, then the price jumps to $40 the day of. All fees are non-refundable and only cash or checks will be accepted.
