America’s National Parks celebrate 100 years in 2016, so many people and organizations have been marking the occasion with beautiful videos. One such film comes from More Than Just Parks, a team of brothers with a passion for national parks. Their latest is Zion 8K, which they describe as “a dazzling 4-minute short that takes the viewer on a visually stunning journey through Zion National Park.
According to co-founder Jim Pattiz, they spent nearly a month extensively filming some of the most incredible parts of Zion. Check it out:
In addition to Zion, More Than Just Parks have also covered Olympic National Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Redwood National Park, and Acadia National Park.
They say their mission is to raise a greater awareness of America’s national parks, and hope to inspire exploration and conservation of our country’s natural wonders. To accomplish this, the brothers have been traveling nationwide to each of the 59 US national parks. They plan on creating a short film for each park, showcasing the things that make each one more than just a park.
