It’s hard to imagine that ski resorts are announcing end-of-season deals and closing dates, considering that winter never really arrived in Utah this year. But it is March and spring is just around the corner, so it’s time to slather on the sunscreen and make plan to ski some corn snow under the sun. Wolf Mountain, located in Liberty in Northern Utah, will have you covered if you’re a member of the military, fire fighter, police officer, and K-12 school teacher. For the month of March, those lucky folks will get to ski Wolf Mountain for free.
On Saturday March 10th or Sunday the 11th, active military, fire and police can ski free by just showing appropriate identification at the Wolf Mountain ticket windows. In addition, family members of military, fire and police personnel can ski for $5 off for each day/night lift ticket with accompanying military, fire or police personnel.
Current K-12 teachers and school administrators can ski free day or night on Friday March 16th or Saturday the 17th by just showing appropriate identification at the Wolf Mountain ticket window on those dates. In addition, family members of K-12 teachers and administrators can also ski for $5off each day/night lift ticket with accompanying K-12 teacher or administrator.
All this generosity comes in anticipation of Wolf Mountain’s closing date for the 2011/12 ski season, which will happen on Saturday March 17th. The resort will have a number of fun activities planned on closing day including the Rockwell Comp Series Big Air Contest, Wolf Mountain Pond Skim and Ski Patrol Fundraiser luncheon. The mountain will be open for normal 9am-9pm operating hours on closing day.
