Mornings are cold all of a sudden here in Utah, and Alta recently posted a picture of frost covering everything up at 8,000 feet. It may be September, but winter is making herself known already. So for this week’s featured video, we’re showing three ski-related edits, and they all come from Alta.
The first one, called “Turns from Alta, 2013” was shot and edited by Addison Price. It’s a solid edit with the usual amounts of GoPro footage and upbeat tracks to make you want to pick up your skis and drive to Alta right now, despite there not being any snow yet… maybe that frost is deep enough to make a few turns…
The second vid comes from Vanessa Aadland. She’s a sponsored, local skier who’s probably best known for skiing down Mount Superior naked. Well, she also rips as evidenced by her self edit taken from footage shot at Alta and abroad last season.
Finally, we have an edit from Price Foulger, who proves that skiing is mostly about air-time (for some people) and that dubstep is required if you want to have any ski-movie cred. I jest, while the video really is inspiring and well done.
Don’t you just love the digital age where you can make your own ski movie using GoPros and digital SLRs? I can get stoked in the summer while sitting in the office. And so can you.
