The Black Diamond Store in Salt Lake City has been closed for some time due to a major remodel and upgrade. But for those of you with Black Diamond gear on your naughty and nice list, the good news is that they re-open this weekend. The best part is that you can get your holiday cheer on by helping the homeless during your visit.
The Black Diamond Store re-opens with special events on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th. There will be special promotions, sweepstakes, food and drink, and a chance to be among the first to check out the latest Black Diamond gear and apparel.
But you’ll want to get there early. The first 100 people in the door on both days get a $15 gift certificate (must be redeemed in-store on December 7th and 8th). The doozy is that one of the gift cards each day will actually be worth $500.
If you make a purchase during the event, you’ll get a free, custom-made BD hat and some stickers.
But the big news is that you can walk away with a new Black Diamond jacket and help the homeless at the same time. During the grand re-opening, if you trade in your old ski jacket, you get a 40% discount on a new Black Diamond jacket. All used jackets will be donated to Salt Lake City homeless shelters.
Doors open at 10 a.m. on both days, so get there early to receive your gift card and be generous by donating a jacket.
The Black Diamond Store is located at 2092 East, 3900 South in Salt Lake City.
